YOUR MEMORIES BELONG TO YOU.
Privacy & your photos.

What we keep
AIColor stores your email address, account information, original photos, restored photos, generated animations, album names, people tags, dates, and stories so you can return to your family archive. Your account, albums and photos are kept in private Google Firebase services (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). We remove embedded EXIF metadata, including location data, when we prepare uploaded photos.
How restoration works
When you request restoration, your photo is sent to Google Gemini for analysis and image processing. Google’s applicable API terms and data policies govern its processing. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to process, or material you do not want sent to an AI provider. When you request scan extraction, Gemini detects photo boundaries. When you purchase and request animation, the restored photo is sent to Replicate and the configured video model. Their applicable API terms and data policies govern that processing. When you pay for a physical print, Stripe collects your delivery address and phone number at checkout. AIColor passes Prodigi a temporary, read-only link to the unlocked image and the recipient details needed to manufacture and deliver that order. AIColor does not keep the delivery address in its own database.
Private by default
Your account can access your own albums and albums you have joined by invitation. Invited family contributors can view photos, add photos, and edit names and stories. The owner can revoke membership. Downloads use temporary links. If you enable album sharing, anyone with the sharing link can view the restored photos and stories in that album. You can turn sharing off to revoke the album link; image links already issued may remain valid for up to one hour, and downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. AIColor keeps the payment reference, the amount, and what was purchased. We never see or store your full payment card details. To run the service we also record the AI processing cost of each request, without the photo contents.
Deleting a photo
Use the delete action in your archive to remove a photo, its restoration, and its story from active storage. Copies held by a recipient who downloaded your photo are outside our control. For account or data requests, contact @eyucoder.
Cookies
We use an authentication cookie to keep you signed in. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count visits, see which pages are used, and measure whether our Google ads lead to sign-ups and purchases. It records events such as signing up, uploading photos, starting checkout and completing a purchase (the pack and its price), and may set analytics and advertising cookies. If you are in Europe we ask first, and nothing is stored until you accept. Analytics never receives your photos, their contents, your stories or your email address.
